Charting Your Course To Health
What Is Waypoint Nutrition?
From wikipedia: “A waypoint is an intermediate point or place on a route or line of travel, a stopping point or point at which course is changed...”
Achieving true health and vitality is a journey. As with any journey, you need a clear understanding of where you’re going and how to get there. In other words, you need a destination and a map. On the way to the final destination, there will be waypoints where course corrections and adjustments will be required.
I can tell you first hand what such a journey is like because I took it myself. I know how difficult it can be without a guide. I also know what kinds of waypoints are important and helpful. I have seen the incredible power of a nutrient-dense, whole food diet, not only in how it impacted me but how it has impacted my clients. My guide was a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP). As a result of my experience with Nutritional Therapy, I decided to become an NTP myself. My passion is to help others navigate this journey to health just as my NTP guided me.
While I am thrilled to work with anyone who wants to optimize their health and/or rid themselves of the chronic ailments caused by a poor diet, my speciality is helping people to get their blood sugar more properly regulated. The issues that result from poorly managed blood sugar are numerous: fatigue, high blood pressure, fluctuating energy level, trouble sleeping, difficulty managing stress, chronic inflammation, hormone imbalances, excess weight. Poorly managed blood sugar can eventually lead to type-II diabetes with all of the associated complications. It can contribute to heart disease and perhaps even to Alzheimer’s Disease. I have seen how helping someone improve their blood sugar management can dramatically improve quality of life.
If you are struggling with chronic health issues or simply don’t have the energy or vitality you want, consider making an investment in yourself. I did and it was one of the best decisions I ever made.
