My steadfast belief is that the human body works; we just need to give it the nutrient-dense whole foods that it was meant to thrive upon. It seems that medical doctors and pharmaceutical companies would have us believe that we're broken, that our bodies need drugs to function properly. This simply isn't true. Many of the chronic health problems we deal with are the result of a diet that is dominated by highly-processed, nutrient-deficient foods. Once we start fueling ourselves with high quality food, the body will flourish.

In early 2016, I was at least 40 lbs overweight, pre-diabetic, and dealing with chronic inflammation. I was on a path towards type-II diabetes and/or a heart attack later in life. I was also sensitive to gluten and probably had been for decades without even knowing it..

After a variety of diet and lifestyle changes, I feel fantastic. I have more energy and feel better than I have in a very long time. I actually didn't realize how bad I felt until I fixed my diet and regained my health. Investing in my quality of life (present and future) is one of the best decisions I ever made. Life is so much more fun and fulfilling when you have the energy to participate fully in it.

I have now become extremely passionate about health and nutrition. After more than 30 years of working in technology, I decided to make a career change. I’m now thrilled to be a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, working with clients to achieve their health and wellness goals.

In addition to being an NTP, I also have training in Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis. I have found this to be an incredibly powerful complement to the other techniques I employ. Blood work doesn't tell the whole story, but it can provide a wealth of useful information.
I am located in San Jose, CA. While in-person meetings are strongly preferred/encouraged, I also work remotely with clients via phone or Skype.
